In 2017, our mission was to find a way to import seafood from Iceland to Los Angeles, so that consumers could enjoy it while it was still FRESH, and never frozen.
We did that.
By utilizing what would otherwise be empty cargo space, Nordic Catch flies in seafood that was sourced from the WILD, and from fisheries that are certified SUSTAINABLE.
We pay attention.
There is no way we could do this without going to the country with the purest water sources, and meeting the expert fishermen of ICELAND.
